Hide AdHarrison’s fundraiser aimed to encourage people to be active and boost the morale of frontline workers.
And he smashed his original £75 fundraising target.
“I’m so proud of the determination and grit that he’s shown,” said Amy, his mum.“His teacher at St Andrew’s Lower School East came out onto the school field with the children that were in class and they made banners and balloons, and cheered Harrison down the finish line. Harrison smashed it out the park with two days to go and ended up raising £2,560 for the charity which he is absolutely ecstatic about.
“The head of the charity has invited him to the hospital for a cheque presentation when restrictions allow, and he also got a lovely email from JustGiving saying he was in the top five per cent of fundraisers in the month of February.”
