Boy taken to hospital after collision with car in Sandy

A nine-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after he was involved in a collision with a car in Sandy this morning (Tuesday).

Officers were called at around 8.35am to a report of a collision on High Street, Sandy, between a car and a child riding a bike.



A spokesperson for Bedfordshire Police said: "A nine year old boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries and an investigation is on-going.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 77 of 28 January."
