PC Dominic Tembey, who is investigating the burglary, is keen to trace anyone who may have information about the stolen equipment.

He said: “One of the cameras taken was a rare Canon 5D Mk111 which is brand new. This camera would stand out to anyone who was offered it cheaply especially within online auction sites so I would urge anyone with information relating to its whereabouts to come forward and speak to the police.”

Anyone with information can contact PC Tembey, in confidence, on 01234 842563 or Bedfordshire Police on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.

Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
