PICTURES: Winning ducks in the river
IT may have been undesirably wet weather but you still went quackers for the carnival duck race.
The bright and cheerful yellow ducks were as popular as ever and they certainly had the crowd on edge as they bobbed their way to the finishing line on the River Ivel. There were plenty of prizes to be won and even those without the fastest ducks had a great time.
As well as the main attraction there were also a host of side stalls and a mini disco. And for those who fancied a snack there was a barbecue and a sweet stall.
Despite the rain it was still an event not to be missed!
