Pint sized world inside the house

AN amateur toymaker has completed a luxury dolls’ house – and now he is using his creation to raise money for charity.

Reg Elphick, who lives in Handley Court in Sandy, has spent four months building the house from scratch. Now he is selling the toy for £800; approximately the amount he spent on it.

But the money will not go to Reg, 80, but to a charity of the buyer’s choice.

Alternatively a charity can buy the dolls’ house for the same price and raffle or auction it off to create more money for the charity.

Reg’s daughter, Jane Jenkinson, said: “This is the fifth or sixth that he has done for charity and friends have also commissioned him to make them.

“He moved from Norfolk to Sandy last April and this is his first in Sandy. This one cost just over £800 and he will be pleased as long as the charity is getting what he spent. It’s a labour of love.”

If you would like to buy the dolls’ house for charity you can call Jane on 07799 605541.
