A restored Polikarpov Po-2 will have the wind under its wings in public view for the first time at Old Warden Aerodrome’s May Day Air Display.

Una Watts, trust general manager, said: “This aircraft is a significant piece of aviation history and we are delighted to have restored it so that it can fly once again.”

To see this historic aircraft in action, along with other planes from both world wars, go to the air display on Sunday (May 1). Gates open at 9am and the flying starts at 2pm.
