Silver award holders ‘show a flexibility towards training and mobilisation commitments of Reservist employees and support the employment of Cadet Instructors, Armed Forces Veterans (including wounded, injured and sick) and military spouses/partners’.

Chief Constable Paul said: “Bedfordshire Police wants to be an employer of choice and awards like this not only demonstrate our commitment to the development of our own people, but our willingness to support partner agencies and learn from those rich experiences.

“Not only have we a number of reservists within the force but, thanks to instructors, we also have a thriving Cadet section as well.”
