What's on in Biggleswade from Oktoberfest to Christmas Lights
Biggleswade Town Council has organised a bumper season of events in the run up to Christmas.
The fun kicks off this week with a town-wide Oktoberfest, as the council has joined forces with businesses to organise over a week's worth of beer, food, music, Halloween fun and more.

And there are plenty of other events for the diary, including special markets, Remembrance, and Christmas festivities – see the full list below.
Mayor Jonathan Woodhead said: “Now that the nights are drawing in, we are looking at some new events for the whole family.

"As well as the formal recognition of Remembrance Sunday on November 8, with a parade and service, we have our annual Christmas Lights 'Switch On' on Friday, November 27. This year, at the light switch-on, we are delighted to welcome Bravo Bear, the mascot of Magpas Air Ambulance.
"As a new event this year, we will also be hosting two children's parties – one at Halloween [now sold out] and another in the run-up to Christmas – plus Reindeers in the Square, carols and our Christmas Markets.
"There is plenty to see and do for everyone."
