Proof that organisation is a top flight club!

A Rotary club has received an award for its work in helping to eradicate polio.

The Rotary Club of Biggleswade was given the Flight for Life trophy at The Stratton House Hotel in the town on Tuesday (November 27).

The club was the biggest contributor in the Rotary District Flight for Life contest, which included a sponsored homing pigeon race.

The club has raised thousands of pounds over the years for the Rotary Foundation campaign to eventually free the world of the disease.

The movement is also supported by the Rotary Club of Biggleswade Ivel and other clubs.
