Pupils serve up a tasty treat

On Friday afternoon the youngsters in Cygnets class at Potton Lower School held The Queen of Hearts Fundraiser.

They put their skills as waiters and waitresses to the test when they served tea and jam tarts to parents in the school hall.

The afternoon, which concluded the half term, also featured a rhyme time show.

As well as getting to enjoy some delicious cakes and have a relaxing afternoon the parents were also helping a good cause.

The event raised money to pay for new artificial turf under the climbing frame for the children to enjoy playing safely during their lunch breaks.
