Central Beds Council raised a flag to mark Armed Forces Day.

The ceremony at the Chicksands council headquarters was held on Monday, June 24 ahead of the day on Sunday (July 29).

The Lord-Lieutenant, Helen Nellis, said: “This was a public way of showing our support for our service personnel from across the communities within Bedfordshire.”
