Robber steals man’s £58,000 Range Rover
Bedfordshire Police are warning car sellers to be vigilant following the robbery in Meppershall at around 1.45pm on Saturday (August 13), where the robber asked the man to show him how the television in the car worked.
As the man leant over to demonstrate the robber, who was sitting in the driver’s side pushed him to the ground and drove off towards the A507 as the victim gave chase on foot.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Lynn Adams said: “This appears to be a premeditated theft of a high performance and expensive vehicle.
“I would urge any motorist who is selling their vehicle privately to take extra care when showing potential buyers their property.
“Likewise, I would be keen to hear from any potential buyers who may have been offered this vehicle.”
