Running the marathon to help children

Peter and Lisa Luxford, who live in Stotfold, are supporting Noah’s Ark in North London.

They hope to raise at least £1,000.

Peter said: “There are tens of thousands of people raising money for the larger charities so we decided to run for a smaller, more personal charity and a local one that we and our sponsors could identify with.”

“A friend of ours mentioned Noah’s Ark, and after a little research we decided it was a perfect choice. Due to the experiences of a number of people very close to us, we are constantly reminded of how lucky we are to have our family. We felt that the work that the hospice does is so important in helping and supporting those families who are faced with some heart breaking challenges on a daily basis.”
