Search for new 2015 royal family begins

The 2015 Sandy Carnival Prince and Princess competition takes place on Sunday, March 29.

The event will take place at the Sandy Roundabout Club where entrants should arrive by 1pm dressed up as a Prince or Princess.

Entrants must be aged between seven and 11 years old on June 13, 2015.

They must also be available to attend the Sandy Carnival procession on June 13 where they will judge the parade entries and will attend many other events during the forthcoming year.

During the competition, each entrant will be asked some questions and the panel judges will then choose the winners.

A presentation will take place to close the afternoon.

The winners will also be asked to switch on the Sandy Christmas lights later in the year.

“The chance to represent the town by holding the title of Prince or Princess is something that any child and parent will be proud of.

This year’s Sandy Carnival theme is ‘Past, Present & Future’.
