Sellout audience at village wrestling show
The main event of the evening saw underdog champion Tommy Nova defeat the giant man mountain Atlas, retaining his UBW Heavyweight title.
It was not the same for Duke Nukem who lost his Young Lions title belt against Drake Cavendish Wentworth.

Hide AdShow organiser and referee Alex Knowles said: “Wentworth used every sneaky trick and dirty deed in the book to distract the referee whilst James took a cheap shot at Nukem. The new victor went on to tease the crowd telling them to bow down to their new champion.”
The next show is on Saturday, April 2, when Drake defends the title for the first time at Clifton Community Hall, from 6pm.
The final match at Haynes between Atlas and Nukem was surrounded by confusion when both appeared to fall over the top rope at the same time.
As there was no clear winner, Paul Ashe, general manager for UBW, has arranged for a number 1 contenders match for a shot at Nova’s title, with Atlas vs Duke Nukem at Clifton.
Other matches that evening include:
UBW British Heavyweight Championship match
Tommy Nova (Champion) vs Robert Sharpe (Challenger)
UBW Young Lions Championship match
