Staff get a soaking!
Youngsters at Robert Bloomfield Academy in Shefford pelted staff with wet sponges as they raised money for Jeans 4 Genes and the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
Members of staff including headteacher Adrian Rogers and assistant headteacher Stephen Fox were subjected to a lunchtime soaking.

Students were also allowed to wear casual clothes for the day as long as they wore jeans, and each paid a £1 charity donation to do so.
Mr Fox said: “The day was a great success and although the final amount has not yet been calculated we hope to raise more than £1,000 for the two charities.
“Thank-you to everyone who contributed and took part.”
Students at Henlow Academy also raised more than £500 for the cause by wearing jeans for the day.
Jeans 4 Genes raises money for the Genetic Disorders UK charity, which supports families affected by genetic disorders.
