Stratton farm open day

STUDENTS and teachers have spent months preparing for their farm’s open day – and now the date is here.

Stratton School Farm’s annual event will take place on Sunday, May 8.

Plants reared by the students will be on sale, as well as plants from the Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire Hardy Plant Society.

Head of agriculture, Imogen Ash, said: “We will have a really nice barbecue with a great big leg of pork, sausages, burgers and bacon rolls.

“We will also have a gladiator game and a bouncy castle. Visitors will be able to see the animals. There are pigs, sheep, rabbits and ferrets and children can handle the chicks.”
