Swimming fun for town’s youth club
Youngsters can splash about this summer thanks to a swimming scheme.
Members of the Sandy Young People’s Tuesday Youth Club can swim in Sandye Place Academy’s pool each Tuesday during the summer holidays.
The first session is on Tuesday (July 30) from 6pm to 8pm.
Twenty spaces are available for the eight to 13-year-olds.
Parents should call the organiser, Ken Lynch, on 01767 681739 before 10am on Monday to book a place for the first session.
It costs £3 per child to cover costs.
