Talented bunch of students on the stage

SCHOOLCHILDREN in their final school years have been enjoying a whole host of different activities to mark the end of term.

The pupils in Year 4 will be moving up to middle school in September.

The youngsters at Langford Lower School had the chance to show their true colours at their very own talent show.

The event was held after the leavers’ assembly and all Year 4 children were invited to take part.

There were so many pupils with a diverse range of talents that there was not enough time for the whole show.

Year 4 teacher, Mehdi Tchina, said: “The children really enjoyed it. We couldn’t decide between four of them. There were some children who we didn’t expect to sing like that!”

There was ballet dancing, a karaoke show, a comedy act, singers and more. The children had been given a month’s notice to prepare acts and pieces.

This was the second year that the teachers decided to hold the talent show.

Mr Tchina added: “They were so enthusiastic and spent whole tracks doing their routines. We didn’t expect some of them to be as confident and as good!”
