Teenager who died in Road Traffic Collision named
19-year-old Jack Noades from St Neots died on New Year’s Day after the car he was driving plunged into a river in the early hours and was not found for ten hours.
Police found the Volkswagen Polo in a small tributary of the River Ouse in Tempsford at 1.20pm after a call from the member of the public.

Hide AdBut police believe it may have entered the river at around 3am after forensic teams examined the body.
Police are appealing to people who may have been enjoying New Year’s celebrations at the time to come forward if they saw anything.
Mr Noades, the only occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene and the road was closed until 3.56pm for a full collision investigation and vehicle recovery.
An post-mortem has since determined that the cause of death was drowning.

Hide AdA full inquest is to be heard at a later date, but family and friends have been paying tribute to the youngster since his death.
Jessica Williams wrote on Facebook: “Today we lost someone truly special to us but today heaven gained an angel. So proud of you for all you overcame! You’ll forever be in my heart my lovely friend!”
