As building work gets
under way at the Kestrel Ridge
development in Sandy, children from the Treetops Nursery accepted a fun challenge to create a time capsule to bury on site.

Nursery manager Gina Brooks said: “The children have had a lot of fun putting the time capsule together and deciding what they want to
include.

“Items range from self-portraits with details of jobs they would like to do when they grow up, the local newspaper, photos of the staff, and
information about the nursery and details about the Linden Homes development.”

A group of children made the short trip from the nursery to the site off Station Road to help bury the capsule close to the show home.

Linden Homes Midlands area sales manager Warren O’Callaghan added: “Our huge thanks to the children and staff at Treetops Nursery for the effort and enthusiasm they have put into producing such a fantastic time capsule.

“It does seem such a shame to bury the capsule, but exciting to wonder who may discover it in years to come.”

A selection of 32 homes will be built at Kestrel Ridge, located on the outskirts of the town centre – with the official opening due to take place this autumn. The showpiece of the development will be the
spacious four-bedroom Langford housetype.

Kestrel Ridge’s close proximity to the town’s railway station makes it a desirable commutable retreat into London, with stations on route via Biggleswade, Hitchin and St Neots – as well as boasting
excellent road links.
