Tinsel, baubles and festive carols
BEAUTIFULLY decorated Christmas trees filled a church with their greenery and tinsel.
Twenty two trees were displayed in the Christmas tree festival at St Mary the Virgin Church in Gamlingay on Saturday and Sunday (December 10 and 11).
Choirs from Gamlingay First School, Gamlingay Village College, Everton Lower School and the church itself provided entertainment during the event.

Hide AdAnne Clarke from the church’s fundraising committee said: “People came in their droves when the children were singing. The theme was Christmas songs and carols.”
Gamlingay First School stole the show with their Christmas trees as the pupils won the children’s section and the FSA won the adult’s section.
