Top stunt pilot will wow crowds at fair

One of the world’s leading stunt plane pilots will be performing amazing feats over the skies above Meppershall Summer Fair this weekend.

Visitors to the fair, on Saturday, June 27, will also be able to watch a flypast by the historic Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, which is scheduled for around 3pm, before the stunt aeroplane arrves around 4.30pm.

The fun starts at 1pm, at Foster’s Fields behind the village hall, and there will be plenty of attractions to keep the whole family entertained all afternoon.

There will be the opportunity to admire classic cars and bikes on display and watch some colourful Maypole dancing.

The popular Scrufts dog show will be held and there will be a new canine behaviour clinic.

The fair also includes lots of entertainment for children, as well as refreshment, a variety of stalls, with crafts, accessories and gifts to browse.

If the weather is not so good, the fair features an all-weather pavilion with stalls.

The bake-off is to return after its successful debut last year, with competitions and food stalls.
