A1 between Sandy and Biggleswade reopens following fire
Biggleswade Today now understands it was due to a building fire near Beeston
Both carriageways of the A1 between Sandy and Biggleswade have now reopened.
In a post on social media at 11.45am today (Wednesday), police confirmed emergency services were on the scene dealing with a situation.
But as of 1pm, the road has been reopened.
