VIDEO: Vulcan XH558 display ahead of farewell flight tour
The historical aircraft took part in displays over the Heritage Motor Centre in Warwickshire and the Old Warden in Bedfordshire on Sunday.

Hide AdIt was also seen in parts of Northamptonshire during the day.
This Saturday and Sunday (October 10 and 11) will see the aircraft take part in the Farewell to Flight Tour.
The Vulcan will fly over the northern half of the country on Saturday and the south on Sunday.

Hide AdA statement on its website reads: “A celebratory national tour, XH558’s most ambitious ever, is being planned for Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October.
“It will bring her flying career to a spectacular close in two sorties to cover the north and south, giving as many people as possible a final opportunity to see the dramatic sight of a Vulcan in the air.
“In saluting that remarkable period of intense British innovation that XH558 so powerfully embodies, the tour will include fly-pasts of several sites famous for British aviation excellence, as well as other well-known locations chosen to provide good vantage points for supporters.”

Hide AdThe flight plan and viewing options on the ground are being still being finalised.
It was thought that this weekend would be the last time it took to the skies but it has now benn announced that XH558’s final flight which take place mid to late October with details yet to be announced.
