YOUNGSTERS had a spectacular start to their new history topic when they spent a day as Roman citizens.
Year 3 and 4 children from Langford Lower School dressed up for the day on Monday (January 9). They learnt about the Roman way of life and why they invaded Britain.
The pupils had a maths lesson with a difference; Roman numerals. They also made Roman artefacts and mosaics.
