Volunteers sought for Gamlingay scheme

The Playscheme will run from August 8 to 12 and is run for youngsters who attend any school – it does not have to be one in Gamlingay.

Children who attend the playscheme are looked after by qualified staff and volunteer helpers and parents who want to help out are very welcome to do so.

Volunteers can help with craft kits, washing up after the cookery sessions or with looking after the children.

Representatives from the scheme will be outside Gamlingay First School on Wednesday, June 29 at 3.25pm to collect any completed forms for children who want to attend and also payment.

Sessions costs £2 per child and youngsters can play snooker, table tennis, table football, watch videos, build Lego and play with various toys. For more information contact 01767 650360 during school hours or otherwise on 01767 651120.
