Watch out for Friday’s eclipse over Bedfordshire
To co-incide with the first day of Spring a Solar Eclipse will be taking place this Friday, which will hopefully be seen as a partial eclipse in the UK.
The eclipse will be up to 88% darkness in Bedfordshire, with maximum eclipse occuring at 9:31am local time.
Timeline of events during eclipse:
8:25am – Partial Eclipse begins
9:31am – Maximum Eclipse
10:41am – Partial Eclipse ends
But be careful how you watch it, do not look at the sun with the naked eye or any other optical aid.
