Joe has won the community award for the second year running.
He said: “It was a complete surprise. I had only attended the meeting to try and find support for the youth cafe and therefore had no idea that I would win the award for the second year. It honestly was an honour.”
Max Hill was given the adult award for services to the community over a number of years.

Hide AdGeoff White said: “This is for his work in the town plan and the carnival committee, and for keeping the twinning association going.
“He also writes a large amount of the column for the Biggleswade Chronicle.”
Max was unable to receive his shield at the meeting as he was on holiday.
The town council had decided to buy the engravable shields in order to keep a more permanent record of past winners.
