Woman found on railway line
A DRUNKEN woman was escorted off the railway line this morning (Thursday, July 21).
Bedfordshire Police were called to the tracks by Biggleswade station just after 10am. The British Transport Police (BTP) also attended.
A spokesman for the BTP said: “Trains were placed on caution while a search of the area was undertaken.
“A woman was found and detained under the Mental Health Act. She has now been taken to hospital where she currently remains.”
The lines were clear by 10.30am.
