Woman grabbed in alleyway

The teenage victim said two boys cycled past her in the alley off Hitchmead Road, moments before she was grabbed at about 8.40pm on Tuesday evening. The girl managed to struggle free and the man ran off.

He is described as black, about 30, wearing a white jacket over dark clothing, gloves with reflective stitching. He had also been drinking.

Detective Constable Luke Moore said: “This was an unpleasant incident in which the victim feared for her safety.”
