Working with popular poet
TALENTED youngsters from the area gathered to work with a popular children’s poet.
Brian Moses visited Sandye Place Academy in Sandy on Monday (November 7) to work with gifted and talented pupils in Years 3 to 6 from Sutton, Potton, Laburnum, Maple Tree and Cotton End lower schools and the middle school.
English teacher, Joanna Kalson, said: “It was fantastic. They were writing all day and it was impressive what they could produce. Brian Moses did four different types of poems with them. It was an opportunity to be with someone successful.”
