Look out for ghosts on 30 haunt-jaunts this Halloween

Enchanted forests, creepy caves and nerve-jangling cemeteries lie in wait for brave souls this Halloween.

Thirty spine-tingling strolls through the UK's scary landscape have been chosen by users and team at the walking app Go Jauntly.

Guaranteed to have you looking over your shoulder for ghosts and ghouls, the collection of walks offer a fiendishly family friendly Halloween.

Scare-fest

For those looking for a scare-fest with a difference, dare you enter the cave of villainous Twm Sion Cati? Only the bravest know what lies hidden in London’s Crossbones Yard cemetery.

How about a ramble through the grounds of Hurst Castle in Hampshire, where in 2018 a man claimed he filmed a ghostly figure on camera that dates back to Henry VIII?

If you are brave enough, head to Greyfriars Kirkyard in Edinburgh to see the Black Mausoleum, said to be haunted by the Mackenzie Poltergeist.

The new collection of ‘spell-binding’ walks stretches from Scotland down to the south coast and are perfect for a more ‘socially-distant’ spooky Halloween.
