The visitors won the toss and chose to bowl at Fairfield. Town opener Kevin Wright made 51 before being bowled by Scott Spicer (3-17 off nine) while Adam Lawrence (20) and Bruce Ditcham (12) were the only other Town batsmen to make double figures as they were dismissed for 120 in the 36th over.

Earl Lee took 3-33 in eight overs and spinner Scott Spicer 3-17 in nine while Krish Canagasabey (3-10 in 3.4) completed the job.

In reply Henlow looked comfortable at 43-1 but collapsed to 81-7 and were indebted to Merrick Baltruschat (23no) and Charlie Jones (13no) to see them home at 121-7 in the 29th over without further loss, Kelvin MacFarlane the pick of the Town bowlers with 4-32.
