Blunham and Eaton Socon through to Heritage final

Blunham and Eaton Socon are in the Heritage Cup final after both sides cruised through their semis on Monday.

Wayne Goldsmith starred for Blunham with bat and ball as they racked up a nine wicket victory at Flitwick.

First he bowled a miserly 17-1 off four overs - and held a catch - when Flitwick were restricted to 141-5 off their 15 overs.

Then he hit 51 off 26 balls as Blunham passed the total with four overs to spare.

Meanwhile Eaton Socon’s score proved too tough a challenge for Southill Park.

Eaton Socon scored 165-6 off their 15 overs.

In reply George Darlow top scored with 35 off 38 balls but Ryan Vale, with 3 for 27 off his 4 overs and Joe Dawborn 3 for 17 off 3overs, left Southill stranded on 108-9 leaving the visiting side 57 run winners.

The final takes place on Friday, July 3 at The Hollow, Potton with a 6pm start.
