Potton launches ladies cricket section

Initially new members will receive coaching from the club’s fully ECB qualified coaches and it is planned to organise practice and friendly fixtures as the new campaign gains momentum.

The new pavilion at the Hollow is in the final stages of preparation and will be ready for the new season.

The new building has four changing rooms, a large refreshment area and a new players bar.

Club practice sessions are every Thursday evening, with youth training on Friday evenings.

A full programme of pre-season friendly fixtures has been planned, with games against Blunham, Stevenage, Flitwick and Sandy already arranged.

The club will be organising a full programme of social events throughout the year, beginning with the Annual May Day Fete (in conjunction with Potton Hall For All committee) on Monday, May 4vand followed by the Grand Opening of the new pavilion on Friday, May 22.
