Southill Park win U18s East Beds Shield
Southill Park were victorious in the U18 East Beds Cricket final over Blunham held at Fairfield, Biggleswade on Tuesday evening.
In an entertaining match of high quality, Southill posted a score of 124-3. Bhavik Talsania top scored with 60 not out and George Darlow made 31.
In reply Blunham were restricted to 119-6. Ross Adams scored 49 and Adam White finished on 37 not out.
George Darlow took an excellent catch, and his figures of 3-31 included a hat-trick.
Umpires decided the man of match was Southill’s Bhavik Talsania.
The trophies were presented by John Gurney.
