Crunch time for Biggy

It’s a big day for Biggleswade on Saturday as the team go to Northampton Old Scouts at 3pm with just three Midlands Two South games left.

Biggy, currently second bottom in the table, are desperate for a win to give them hope in their relegation battle.

Biggleswade Development face Newmarket Development in a crucial League game at home at 3pm.

The third XV meet Royston seconds in their rearranged Greene King League clash at Biggleswade

Seven of Biggleswade’s U17s players have been selected for East Midlands Rugby duties.

Owen Griffiths will captain the East Midlands team consisting of fellow Biggy players, Jack Munns, Kane Parris, Ben Clare, Michael Phillips, Sachin Ardura and Rhys Gregory.

Three of the boys attend the rugby course at Moulton College, Northampton while Griffiths is in the Northampton Saints U18s squad.

The U17s play Hitchin in a local derby at 11am on Sunday in Division One of the Saracens Herts and Middlesex league

Biggleswade third XV join the Development team at the Greene King Finals day on April 27 when they face St Neots IIs in the final.
