Arlesey felled by goal inside 60 seconds

A goal after just 24 seconds condemned Arlesey to defeat in their Tuesday night Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division trip to Chesham United.

New signing Stuart Farrell from Uxbridge was on the bench, but Arlesey were behind in the opening minute as Toby Little curled into the top corner.

Blues’ keeper Nathan Abbey saved well from Little and James Potton, while Arlesey came close through Ollie Thorne and Chris Dillon.

In the second half, Chesham almost made it 2-0 as Little’s curler rebounded off the post.

On Saturday, Arlesey travel to Redditch.
