Gr-eight day for Waders, United win again while FC lose to leaders
Biggleswade Town were in stunning form on Saturday as they put eight goals past bottom-of-the-table AFC Dunstable.
The 8-1 win came after the visitors had taken an early lead, before the Waders fought back with Tom Baggaley and Rion Silver scoring twice each and other goals for Liam Andrews, Josh Steele, Harrison Rookard and Coree Wilson.

The victory kept the Waders third in the SPL Division One Central standings and five points clear of sixth-placed Thame who have a game in hand as the battle for play-off places continues.
*Biggleswade FC’s own hopes were hindered as they fell 1-0 at league leaders Leighton Town.
A second-half own goal proved the difference between the sides as FC remain fourth, three points behind Town and two points ahead of both fifth-placed Hertford and Thame in sixth.
This weekend, Town host third-from-bottom Northwood while FC make the trip to Barton Rovers who sit just outside the play-off places.
*Biggleswade United, meanwhile, had a free weekend but returned to action on Tuesday night with a 3-0 win at Harpenden Town.
Their hosts have gone through a tough time recently with their previous manager and several players having left the club, one of those being striker Harry Jones who joined United and proceeded to score the opening goal with a header from corner.
Kane O’Neill headed the second before Kingsley Joy-Bates ran through to net the third.
Boss Kane Dougherty said: “We had to be patient. There were a lot of frustrations, especially in the first-half, not having that cutting edge in the final third, but we had full control and the lads were patient and got two goals from corners in the second-half.
"Harpenden have had a tough couple of weeks but have put together a young group that are all working hard for each other and kept us honest.”
United host Aylesbury Vale Dynamos on Saturday before going to Haringey Borough on Tuesday in the Premier Division Cup semi-final.
