Peacock leaves Barton for Waders
Barton Rovers top scorer Nat Peacock has left the club to join Calor Southern League Premier Division side Biggleswade Town.
The striker, who was subject to several approaches from other Premier Division club after scoring nine goals in the league already this season, opted to sign for the Waders.
Barton boss Dan Kennoy has quickly moved to fill the gap ahead of today’s FA Cup clash at home to Boreham Wood by signing Nyasha Sagwete from Hitchin Town.
On the transfer, Biggleswade boss Chris Nunn said: “Great addition to the squad, pleased that Nat really wanted to sign for us.”
