Stotfold girls quiz Arsenal and Chelsea stars at Wembley

Players from Stotfold Girls U10s had an unforgettable day meeting their idols at the home of football.

They attended the Wembley Media Day ahead of this weekend’s SSE Women’s FA Cup Final between Arsenal and Chelsea.

And they had the chance to quiz the players and managers in a press conference before posing with the trophy itself.

Sam Ward, mum of Stotfold U10 player Iona, said: “The players we met were fabulous and we are very grateful as to how honest and inspiring they were.

“I hope if any of our girls ever get to their level they will remember the way they were treated by the lovely Arsenal & Chelsea ladies and act in the same manner!

“We’re not going to forget the experience for a very long time. Looking forward to seeing the ladies in action at the final on Saturday.”

The final is at Wembley on Saturday, may 14, kick off 2pm.
