They lost 3-2 at Ely in February in a rare defeat but there were no slip ups this time as they cruised to a 4-0 victory. They lead the league on goal difference from Royston Town.

Waders took the lead on 15 minutes as Lee Northfield fed George Bailey who cleverly picked his way past several Ely legs to finish. The same two players combined ten minutes later as Alfie Moulder got their second.

The third duly arrived when Rhys Thorpe latched onto a clearance to tuck the ball past the advancing keeper.

George Riley finally put the game to bed with a free kick from the edge of the box.

There’s a big game lined up for the young Waders on Friday, April 22 when Aston Villa will be sending a side – agreed as part of the deal that saw Keinan Davis leave the Carlsberg Stadium for the Premier League club.
