This rare photo is of the short-lived Ickwell & Old Warden Scout Group. It is believed to have been taken in 1955-56 at a county camp in Ampthill Park. Dave thinks the group was disbanded in around 1958.
The late Roy Heard, Scout leader is at the back, second left (wearing sunglasses). His assistant Jeff Stilson is also at the back, second right.
Also in the photo are Derek Reed, first right in the front row, and Peter Onion who is the tall boy third from left in the back row.
The group used to meet at Ickwell Village Hall.
