Forty years for town’s rugby youngsters
This year, Biggleswade Rugby Club is celebrating 40 years of Mini Rugby. During this time, thousands of children have passed through the Mini and Youth sections and many local adults will have fond memories of playing for them.
This picture was taken in around 1977 and shows one of the teams posing outside what was then the newly extended clubhouse. Holding the ball is Simon Barker who went on to play for the First XV, but how many more can be named?

The current Mini section is off on their bi-annual family tour in March where they will compete in the Bournemouth Festival.
