‘Music on Mondays’ proves a hit thanks to a local volunteer
Residents at Biggleswade Day Centre are enjoying ‘Music on Mondays’.
Doreen Lawrence, in conjunction with St Swithen’s Church in Sandy, is volunteering at the centre where she leads the group in singing songs from their past.
The Monday event takes place on the fourth Monday of every month and has been running since the Spring.
She said: “They all absolutely love it. There are about 30 people in total and we all sing well-known songs from their youth.
Each month there is a different theme to the event.
