Potton football cup winners named
The photograph that we published in Memory Lane on February 13, 2015 of Potton footballers being awarded the cup has been identified by Malcolm Hutchinson who appears in the picture himself, as the Potton Youth Under 18s team. And it was taken between 1949 and 1951.
The players, pictured left to right, are: Billy Drew who is receiving the cup, Eric Rook, Freddie Meeks, Cliff Blott, Ken Hindaugh, Malcolm himself and their mascot Allan Richardson.
