We were the 50s baby boomers
MANY of the ‘baby boomers of Biggleswade’ have been kindly named by Russell Hartley who wrote in following publication of the 1953 photograph of Church Road Junior School pupils which appeared in Memory Lane on June 10, 2011.
The photo was originally supplied by Richard (aka Dick) Roscoe who could only remember a few names and had trouble putting them to faces.
Russell named the line up as follows.
In the front low, seated left to right are: Daphne Buckland, ?, Peter Vickers, Anthony Albone, Susan Rudland, ?, John Rowland, Ann Marsh (kneeling slightly behind) and ?
