Sandy Carnival ladies tug-of-war draw

Martin is photographed carrying out the draw in his shop Sandy Cycles and Image Micro Components who are great supporters of Sandy Carnival. They not only sell bikes and computers but they also carry out servicing and repairs.

Competition will be fierce between the teams. The results of the draw are 4Seasons Gym v The Four Horsemen Bar and Cortex Gym v Glow Hard or Go Home. The competition will take place in the arena at Sandye Place. The trophy has been sponsored by Lynne and Neil Darlow.

The Carnival Parade, the theme this year is ‘Light, Camera, Action’, will step off from All Saints Way at 1.30 pm. Look out in the parade for the Sandy Reunion Band, the Shefford Majorettes, the Aisle O’Var Backswordsmen showcasing their sword skills, Steve Kaos, the Fuze Dance School and a surprise visitor. In addition, fire engines from both Sandy Fire Station and Shuttleworth will be in attendance.

Come along and support one of the largest community events in Sandy with over 30 stalls, various food and drink vendors and Harris’s Funfair. Bring a picnic, there will be lots to see and do for all ages.
