Stage debut for first rate sheep

THIS show is one for the children – but also one that accompanying parents should enjoy.

Shaun’s Big Show features the BBC family favourite Shaun the Sheep. He will be making his stage debut in this live production, which has been adapted by the National Children’s Dramatist, David Wood.

The play begins when Shaun decides to put on a special show for all his friends with influences from none other than Strictly Come Dancing.

The farmer has been watching the popular television programme and decides to teach himself how to tango.

Meanwhile the flock discover the fun of dancing and are inspired by the farmer’s antics to put on a show in the barn.

As can be imagined, plenty of mayhem ensues.

Aardman’s television series, Shaun the Sheep, first appeared in 2007 and was itself inspired by Nick Park’s Academy award winning short film, A Close Shave.

All of the characters from the hit series will appear in the stage show, including Bitzer, Shirley, Timmy and the rest of the flock.
